Homestay is an enriching experience for both student and family and is a unique and intimate way to experience Australian culture.
What better way to develop a student’s English than by daily interaction with a typical Australian family? Students who live with a family have a quicker grasp of English and generally become proficient much quicker.

Your Homestay family will introduce you to their unique way of life and welcome you as a part of the family. You will be included in day to day family activities as well as social events and outings. Your Homestay experience will be a “Home Away from Home”.
English + Further Study Downunder has a large data base of diverse Homestay families. They may be single individuals or families with different religious beliefs, professions or ethnic backgrounds.

Each family is individually interviewed and selected by us and their homes are inspected in order to make sure they meet our standards of excellence. In the case of students under 18, Government Legislation stipulates that occupants of any Homestay situation over 16 years of age must be screened by the relevant authorities. This process is coordinated by English + Further Study Downunder.
